Is something wicked. There is an immense amount of reports currently in the Desk and we are slowly chipping away at it. This means two things:

1) Most of you are taking the time to report miscategorised deviations and we thank and appreciate it. We definitely can't do this alone, so having so many of you take the time to sift through the subsections of each gallery means a lot to us. We thankyou.

2) People are either /not/ taking the time to submit their artistry into the correct category... OR they don't understand the gallery that they are submitting to. This could be a language barrier or a confusing description?

...what do we do about this? Currently we are all working behind the scenes to streamline the Traditional Art Gallery so that it's easier to use and navigate. During this, we are also going through the descriptions and slicing and dicing until we can come up with the absolute minimum and most concise way of explaining a sub-gallery.

Do you have any suggestions? Perhaps there is something that you've noticed during your daily trawls through the gallery that needs some sort of better explanation? I believe if we put our heads together, we could come up with some very simple and easy solutions to keeping the galleries neat and educating in the meantime.

Mm, I can't believe I've only heard of this contest now. Please take a look at =Cataclysm-X's It's all about Music Contest. Create a work of art inspired by a lyric or track of your choice. Right up my alley, wouldn't you say? You have until the 31st to get your entries in! This is entirely sponsored by her, so please direct any and all questions her way.



So you'd like to suggest a Daily Deviation to me? Awesome! Here are a few tips and tricks:

► I only accept suggestions from the Traditional Art Gallery.
► Send it to me in a Note with the title: "DD Suggestion" (or some other variance)
► Honest- I probably won't reply back to you. This has nothing to do with you and has everything to do with it's easier for me to make my decision spot-on. If I were to reply to every suggestion I receive, I'd never have time to feature anything, heh.
► I may choose another piece from the deviants gallery. IF this is the case, I will list you as the suggester. This is also the only case where I will reply to you; to let you know my decision. It's also the perfect time for you to speak up if you wish not to have your name listed.
► Please only send your suggestion to one gallery director. This eliminates confusion. If the piece hasn't been featured in a months time, then you may send it along to another.

Easy peasy, nice 'n breezy.
